I am proud of my disability. I can teach people something that they couldn’t understand before. I also can inspire people to think out of the box. However, sometimes I wish I didn’t have this disability. I want to straighten my hair, put on my make-up how I want, and wear what I want. I am 14, and I should do things how I want. If you really know me, you would say that my appearance does not match my personality. Someone has to make my appearance for me. However, I can tell people what I want, but often times they change it how they would like it.
I love my disability, but I have problems with it.
GREAT blog, Megan! Keep sharing your story with everyone that will listen. You're an inspiration to many.Lauren EndersSLP, AAC ConsultantBucks County, PA
