I’m almost there! – My Journey to Graduation

I’m a college senior at the University of Houston. This is my last day in my handicapped dorm! I can not believe it! I moved into my dorm room in Spring 2017 and now it’s 2024! While I still have two more classes to take online this summer, I have to say good bye to my dorm room today. I am both happy and sad at the same time. I am so proud of myself to have made it this far especially with all of the bumps on the road. For example, I had to cancel a semester while I was recovering from overcoming death and a coma. That did not stop me from chasing my dream to graduate college. I have become an adult learning how to live independently. I don’t know what is next for me.  But, I am eager to see what that is!
