A teenage girl goes out with friends, goes on dates, and have alone time. For me, when I go out I have to have a person with me. Would you like a person go on your dates with you? When you first meet someone, it is awkward enough. However when you have an aide with you, AWKWARD! Now imagine if this relationship moves forward…
I want a normal life with romance like everybody else.

Hey Megan- Found your blog through DynaVox Communications. I'm almost 26 years old, have CP and though I don't have an aide with me, I can totally relate to how you feel. It's never easy for those of us with disabilities. Stay positive – if it's meant to be, it'll be =)
